Very nice overall

We stayed recently and overall enjoyed the cabin. It seems like they could make a few tweaks to make it an exceptional rental. Some suggestions: provide firewood daily (a very small amount was provided and I was told no when I asked for more), move the bunk bed out of the second bedroom to make that a king bed downstairs, fix the gap in the floor in the loft bathroom, fix the faucet in the kitchen so that it doesn't make that sound.

Great location, while still being remote. Lake is huge and the views are even better. 8 minutes to the ski hill, would prefer this over a ski in/ ski out. Very clean and homey vibes.

You Will Love Caribou 22

Beautiful Cabin w/fantastic view & many conveniences. Fishing was okay. I caught 1 Walleye n 2 Bass. Lovely fire pit, but have bug spray.

Wow, what a great find!

Beautiful place on a quiet, serene lake. We were there in late June and the road was lined with wildflowers. The lake was a bit chilly so we didn’t swim much, but enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking. The house was perfect for our group of 10, we had 3 families and each had their own bathroom and bedroom area. We loved the rustic design of this house with all of the natural wood, yet all of the modern convenience we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms, plus a washer/dryer. We greatly appreciated that dogs are allowed so that the furry family members could enjoy the vacation, as well. We loved our stay so much that we are already talking about coming back next year.

Great times in Lutsen!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful cabin where we enjoyed tons of space to eat, play and have fun with friends. The lake was so quiet on our midweek we could paddle board and play frisbee right on the water.

Worth Every Penny

This is our second year staying at this cabin. It’s big, beautiful, comfortable, on a beautiful piece of property, close enough to everything you want to do but far enough away to be quiet. Absolutely recommend this place!

Beautiful location! Great place for a group of adults.

This place had plenty of room for our group of 10 adult1. It was so homey and beautiful! We loved the location and going snowshoeing on the lake! Definitely make sure to bring 4WD in the winter.

Great winter escape!

Location was perfect for winter fun. On a lake, close to snowmobile trails, and Lutsen Mountain is a few miles away. Very nice house with very comfortable beds, excellent kitchen, and plenty of space for everyone to relax. Highly recommended!

Summer Trip

It was VERY hot when we were there. Unfortunately there was no way to get in and out of the water at the dock. Large deck but no tables/chairs for dining or lounge? Only 2 hard chaise lounges with no cushions for 7 people? Enjoyed the screen porch with the bugs! Bit confusing with the code. A keyless entry box was on the railing but it's actually on the door itself. Fry pans were pretty bad but other dishes seemed to work.

Winter Wonderland

Truly the PERFECT log home accommodations for our cozy ski weekend for 6. Spacious, clean, comfortable, fabulous view overlooking frozen lake and snow-covered pines. Deepest, fluffiest snow I’ve ever experienced, and about 6 additional inches fell during our stay! Caretakers arranged for plowing driveways promptly.. Using our 4-wheel drive was definitely necessary, so we were glad we heeded the advice noted in the property description.

The Quiet Place You Need

Had rented the property to hike in the areas nearby. Photos from the website got my interest due to the secluded area, bonfire pit, the cabin itself, and ease of access to lake. During our stay it was gloomy and misting so we ended up not hiking as much as we had planned on. The cabin was cozy enough that we all decided to stay in more than intended and did not regret it. Lol. The big kitchen was also big and fairly supplied with cooking ware which made it easy to feed the group of 7 we had. I recommend canoeing or kayaking around the lake if you can. It was peaceful with no pleasure boaters. We had arrived later in the fall season so the fall foliage was no longer present, but it would have been a sight to see had it was the peak. Do make some time to hike the overlook near the access of the cabin too! Thanks again for having us!

Annual Family Fall Hiking Trip

The property was spacious and accommodating. It was very nice to have soaps, lotions, shampoo, etc., along with dish soap and dishwasher pods. The kitchen was well equipped but we couldn’t find a cutting board. The location was great for our family hikes! The only negative was that the price per night was fine, but all of the added fees seemed excessive.

Peaceful cabin in the woods on a fantastic lake. Hiking, boating and shopping all accessible within a reasonable driving distance.
