A few things to note, though: - the hotel is a good 15m walk from the walls of Lucca, so you need to plan your days as it’s not easy to pop back during the day, especially in the heat of August. "I liked everything. The Host is really nice & helpful. She gave us recommendations for where to eat in Lucca & where to park in Pisa. The breakfast was a feast. The B&B is beautiful & decorated with antiques. They have free parking in a private courtyard & a big flower garden that the guests are welcome to enjoy. "If you are arriving/departing by train (Lucca) this is an excellent location as Hotel Rex is a couple of minutes walk away. The hotel is also very close to the city's renaissance walls.
