"Breakfast options are great but the service is kind of scattered. Beach should be cleaned every night; at times we saw spoons, ice cream cups and cigarette butts near the cabanas which was not what we expected. Some of the employees go out of their way while others act like they are doing you a favor. Our room was lovely but it was in a building that had been recently updated. Very nice but overall not 5 star."

"The hotel staff was not very friendly. My flight was delayed a day so I emailed them letting them know. When I arrived, they had given my room away and wanted to upcharge me for a better room. The Hemingway restaurant on the property has excellent food but we did have a roach on our table and the waitress basically said, they are everywhere and acted like we were overeating. Beach is well kept and property is clean. "

"This is our 2nd time at the Atrium. It's very quiet, peaceful and beautiful. Our room this time had a couple of issues which is why we are giving it 4 stars instead of 5. Air conditioning wasn't working properly and the washing machine had some issues. All in all, we love the Atrium."

"We loved the property. There were 4 couples and the villa accommodated all us extremely comfortably. We loved hanging by the pool when we were not at the beach. Alessandro was an excellent host and helped us with transportation and was responsive with any questions. His pride of ownership was readily evident. There was a power outage while we were there and the house was completely on generator, so no impact at all. I would highly recommend Villa Islander for a group."
