"Beautiful property snd rooms are very spacious and comfortable. It has all the modern amenities while retaining the old school charm of such an old building. We loved the wood burning fire place in the room as well. Breakfast was really good and staff at breakfast place was very friendly and courteous and service was top notch. Afternoon high tea was also amazing. Property has a beautiful courtyard and several charming cottages and suites. Highly recommend staying here for Ooty visit"

"A fabulous hotel in the small city of Ooty. Service was excellent. One example - the tennis final was on a channel that was not subscribed to on the hotel system, they subscribed! Facilities are modern, even having USB charging points built in, in the rooms. The hotel offered several daily activities including free tea tasting every afternoon and evenings around a garden fire, (we missed out on the fire as the weather was awful during our visit ). "

"There was no heat even though the temperature was below 50 degree Fahrenheit. The shower did not work and the food for breakfast had run out. Our rooms had absolutely no windows or sunlight. Badly needs renovation. Most importantly it’s being run with skimpy staff and so no one answered the telephones or took care of you. Sad because bones of property are great. "

"Reception struggled to find our reservation at check in. Room was basic, Very hard double bed. Kettle and a jug of water was supplied at check in, no further water given and room does not get made up. We were in the main building annexe and it obviously had not been used for some time, smelt and felt damp. I know we are in the mountains and should expect lower temperatures. "First of all, this is not a hotel. It is a shared accommodation with independent bathrooms in each room. The rooms are very small and not clean. Washrooms were stinking and when we asked for proper cleaning, we were provided with room spray. Lot of flies in the rooms co-living with you. Kettle was not working and we even had power issues where the power sockets were not working for multiple hours. Food (breakfast) was too good and the service was nice.
