"The room and bathroom were relatively small but worked for us. We did not like the hot tubs and they were not warm enough, only 38C. Sauna was ok. We enjoyed the breakfast, good selection and good coffee."

"This is the 3rd year in a row that we have visited which soeak for itself. This is an absolute gem and we were lucky to see the Nothern Lights 2 days in a row from the hot tub. The only things that would make it even better is if the outside lights were on a sensor so that you can enjoy the lights even more. "We were here in October 2017. Hotel was nice, had a shared kitchen that we didn't use. Can walk to a few restaurants nearby. There was a hot tub that was shared as well. We only stayed one night so we didn't try it out. It was a little difficult to find the place, and once we did we weren't sure about the parking situation. But we figured it out. The place was nice and clean. Would stay here again."

"A fantastic place to stay, and a brilliant base for the sights of south Iceland. Friendly staff and the room itself had everything you could need for the price, plus a little bit more. Had to use the spare duvet as a pillow, as I like a firm pillow, but that's more personal preference."

"Loved our stay at guesthouse Bjarney. Awesome hosts, super nice. Out of all the hotels we stayed in (4 total), this was our favorite in Iceland. Super clean, free parking, spacious room, great hosts. Please do note that the hosts live in the guesthouse as well, we thought that would be awkward at first but it wasn't. The hosts are super nice, they let us use their jacuzi and sauna. Would recommend!"
