« We spent 3 nights at Raul’s guesthouse which felt more like a very spacious condo! It is safe with a gated driveway and a backyard that never ends! The fruit trees, the flowers and the landscape are absolutely stunning. Now for interior, there are only positives critiques to be said here. Everything is high end, they provide you with so many things that it is easy to cook your own meals! They have lots of pots and pans, dishes etc… but no condiments. Every inch of this place is taken care of....

« We only stayed 2 nights but I wish we had booked 4 nights. The home was spotless and had absolutely everything we needed. All three beds were so comfortable (a little softer than we are use to, but so cozy). The home is decorated with so much thought, and was a wonderful place to spend time, with plenty of space for 4 adults. The location is perfect if you want easy access to the national park, which is about a 5 minute drive. Some small restaurants and shops in the small town. When we wanted...

« We loved our time here! The property is just like the photos and it's so close to Volcanoes National Park. There was an eruption the day we arrived and we were able to get to it in 10 minutes. It's also just beautiful to be surrounded nature. A comment: there weren't any blinds/curtains, so be aware when the sun comes through in the morning. »

« We have stayed in a lot of VRBO and rental units. This was by far the coolest we have ever been at.We booked very last minute because we wanted to extend our stay in Volcano to see Kilauea erupt.Quiet, peaceful, extremely clean. So charming and unique. We were obsessed with the furnishings. Read outside and listened to the birds daily. Super close to Volcano National park. Loved it. Will stay again for sure if given the opportunity. »

« We had such a great experience staying in the guest cottage. It was so private, clean, cozy, and the views were breathtaking. The host was so good to work with. The microwave went out during our stay and they were there to fix it immediately. Also, they were so good to give recommendations and help with all our needs including last minute snorkeling gear. Staying here added so much to our experience here in Hawaii and I would stay here again, definitely recommend. »
