Come enjoy our relaxing chalet with the best view in Gatlinburg!

Two large decks to enjoy the beautiful landscape and breathtaking vistas, and all the amenities you could ask for on a mountain getaway. Set high atop Ski Mountain in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, this chalet has it all!

Convenient to the downtown Gatlinburg Strip (2 miles), where the entrance to the Smoky Mountain Park begins or all the shops and entertainment that Gatlinburg has become famous for over the years. Convenient to the Ski Lodge at Ober Gatlinburg for winter or summer play, this cabin provides for a relaxing weekend getaway or a week long stay during any season of the year. Watch the Ober Gatlinburg Tram pass overhead and wave from the beautiful decks or just pass the time away while enjoying spectacular views of Mt. LeConte.

The Main level of this cabin has a living room area with a leather sleeper sofa and 48-inch wide screen cable TV with DVD player. There is a fully equipped kitchen, park-style charcoal grill (Charcoal, lighter, and lighter fluid not provided) just outside and dining for 6 at the table or take your meal on to the deck and enjoy the view seated on the comfortable patio furniture, which includes two tables for your convenience. Adjacent the living room is the first master suite, which has a luxurious king size log bed and adjoining full bath with tub/shower and pedestal sink. The second master suite also offers a plush king size log bed and the second full bath is adjoining the bedroom and also opens to kitchen/living room. Upstairs area offers an 8-foot pool table, game table with checkers, chess, a relaxing indoor Jetted tub, half bath, CD player and LED TV with DVD player beside a wet bar that also has a small sink. The lower level (accessible from exterior of house) has a full size washer and dryer along with a full regulation size ping pong table complete with a ball dispensing machine and 4 paddles. Outside, there is a beautiful full-length deck that holds the 7-person hot tub and a willow swing, perfect from which to enjoy the spectacular view from the lower level.

** If snow or ice conditions are present, you should have 4-wheel drive or snow chains. Our driveway is a bit steep, and we provide ice melt and snow shovel for your convenience, if needed.

Very Peaceful

Oh my gosh, we loved it! The cabin was amazing, the view of the mountains was amazing, the host was amazing! I can't say enough good things about this place. I just hate we couldn't stay longer. This is one of those places that makes you wish you lived there! I 100% recommend Awesome Views!

Excellent location & great views
We had a great time at the house! It was a convenient location to the entrance of Smokey mountains and didn’t have to fight all the downtown traffic in gatlinburg when going to the national park. We also had a family of 4 bears visit us twice during our stay which made for an entertaining evening (to say the least!) Our views were great … we were able to experience all the seasons in 5 days . Our temperatures varied from 82- SNOWING!

Wonderful house!
This is a very cozy house in the mountains that is exceptionally clean! All amenities as described, beautiful deck and view. Internet worked flawlessly. Close enough to downtown to access easily, but away from the traffic and crowds. Steep roads up to the house and steep driveway if you're not used to that, but that is the case with all of the houses up in this area! We needed to communicate with the owner upon arrival and she was easily accessible and helpful. We had a wonderful time and would stay here again if we come back to the area.

We highly recommend the "Awesome View" cabin.
This cabin was more than we could have asked for!!! Decorated beautifully, had everything we could have needed and more! Beds were as comfortable as ours at home. Ping pong table was a major plus for us! Owner was great to work with! We enjoyed every minute of our quick getaway to Gatlinburg!

What a view!
The cabin was spotless and decorated for the holidays- so cozy. The bed was super comfortable and the view from the deck was breathtaking. The host was quick to respond when we had an internet question. Be aware the driveway to the cabin is extremely steep with a sharp turn which was tricky and a nail-biting experience for our big SUV. The best part was we saw a black bear in the neighborhood which was great fun to watch from the safety of our car!

Awesome View is Awesome!!!
Started to cancel this trip due to the recent Gatlinburg fires but so glad we didn't. We really enjoyed Gatlinburg and our stay at Awesome View. This property is close to Gatlinburg and Ober Mountain. The cabin has everything you need and was super clean. The property was exactly as described and booking was so easy. Just a note......there is a sharp turn to get into driveway and 4 wheel drive helped on the steep incline.

View was great. Driveway was treacherous. Would like to have seen that in the description. Sofa and love seat should be replaced (worn out). Didn't notice in the description that the fireplace is electric. Would have skipped if we'd seen that. Overall we had a nice visit. Just suggesting upgrades. Need a cutting board. Dishwasher didn't clean well.

The Great Escape
We had an amazing time stayin at "Awesome View" in Gatlinburg. The Cabin is high up in the mountains and the roads are intimidating but once you get to the top it's so worth it. The cabin was clean and exactly as pictured. We had everything we needed for a wonderful week in the mountains. We even saw a mama bear and her 3 cubs right outside the cabin. Absolutely amazing. I definitely recommend staying here.

Enjoyable, but can be improved
Good house, enjoyable stay, hot tub location downstairs, not accesible from main part of the house, i would recommend the owner to have a bit more supplies in the house like, salt, pepper, hand wash, extra trashbags, extra toilet paper etc, those are basic stuff, it is hard to comprehend for some one on vacation to go to shopping for basic needs, just a comment.

Nice Get Away
The house is very nice. The pictures are accurate and the house was very clean and has everything you need. Arrival and departure are very easy. A couple of points, on your way, stop in Pigeon Forge for groceries, there is not as much in Gatlinburg for groceries. The Grill uses Charcoal, so get some then as well. One note, there is a no refund policy. We actually needed to leave 2 days early, so we lost out on those nights. Make sure you are making the trip.

The BEST Getaway!
We had a blast on our mountain getaway! Everyone had things to do at the cabin. (Played pool, ping pong, worked puzzles and played checkers and chess-all included at cabin) Everyone loved the hot tub. Kids age range 8-15. The view was amazing. Everything was super clean! Beds were comfortable. There was the best pizza place right down the road. (They even deliver!) The drive to downtown Gatlinburg was less than a 10 minutes. The driveway is steep, but I would let that deter you. It flattens off at the top to park. (Our full size Silverado had no issues.) Loved the location! HIGHLY recommend and would definitely stay again!

Great view. Good furnishings perfect for 2 couples.
Everything was excellent. Only 2 noteworthy cons about the whole place. Driveway and road leading to house very steep switchbacks. You need a 4wd in winter. We had one, so no issues but just a note. Other than that the grill is park grill so don't plan on grilling anything major. And fireplace is gas but little more than a candle puts out no heat so if your looking to snuggle in next to a fire you will be dissapointed. But despite these relatively small issues a great house for the price per night. Very clean. I will be staying again in the future.

Everything it says and more
This cabin is fantastic! The views are amazing, the cabin is nicely decorated, the beds are comfortable, and it is very well stocked. If you have small children there is a high chair, stool, and baby gate which made are packing less and that is a big bonus when traveling with children! This is in a great location just about 5 mins from town! We saw bears on the property on two different days! The owner has been wonderful to answer all my question! The only two dislikes we had was the driveway is kind of steep and the turn in is a little harder to make in a bigger vechile, but by the first day we figured it all out and it has become a lot easier. The other issue was the laundry room and hot tub is downstairs and you have to go outside and walk down the stairs to get to them. These two things would defiantly not stop us from renting this cabin in the future. We would highly recommend this cabin!m
