"The condo is nice especially for 2 people. We had a problem with the smoke alarm on our last day. The battery needed to be changed so it started chirping at about 5 am. Other than that everything was really nice. The lake is right there and the pool area is great and easy to get to. "

"Very nice place with a warm cabin feeling. It has a small kitchen with a sink, stove, and counter . The place comes equipped with pots, pans, and microwave . Just bring your own cooking oils, spices, and plastic wrap and utensils like forks and spoons. This place has a fireplace, it was nice to have a fire while it snowed outside. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They are also dog friendly. I would stay here next time! "

"Great location. Close to the lifts. Love the fact that the large parking area was empty and full of snow when we were there, perfect for our dog to run around in a safe environment. "Great location in South Lake Tahoe, nice studio condo, very convenient garage and first floor access. I stayed with my son, and my two grandchildren, ages 11 and 14 visited us for a few nice dinners. The fireplace is lovely, the bedding was comfortable, and the full kitchen made it really easy for us to store food and cook meals."

"We spent three nights here over the Thanksgiving holiday. Cozy cabin space with fireplace. The period decor was great--right out of the 1950's but clean and well-maintained. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful--we hit some local hills for early season sledding and they set us up with sleds and helmets. We will be back!"

"We had a nice few days at the condo. The condo has everything you need. There wasn't anything that we were lacking, except for air conditioning. But thankfully the condo has many nice stand up fans. We needed them as it was 98 in Tahoe. We really appreciated the stand up paddle board we used at the lake. The rooms were comfy and we felt like we were at home. It's very close to everything on the north side. We would definitely stay there again. "

"we booked this room as we needed an overnight stay during a road trip. the room was nice and the location worked out great for the trip. the toilet bowl a noticeable smell. and there was no hot water. since we arrived pretty late we were hoping we can shower in the morning and leave but the water was freezing. we could barely wash our faces. there were no instructions as to how to turn the water heater on (assuming there was one) and we were in a rush so we couldn't wait for an answer."

"We had a wonderful stay at the South Lake Chalet. The accommodations were exactly as described- clean, unbeatable location ( easy walk right to Heavenly gondola), smooth check in, convenient kitchenette, assigned parking, access to EV chargers. The small touches such as disposable slippers /eye masks, etc. were also nice additions. Dog friendly as well which was a bonus! We absolutely would stay again. Highly recommend! "

"My husband and I stayed here for his 60th bday. We enjoyed our two night stay. It a pretty place and the hot springs/tubs were an added benefit. Be careful though and test the temperature of the water before rushing in, as one of the pools was scalding hot. All the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. We would stay here again. "
