Yellowstone Retreat Rentals U1: two blocks from Yellowstone!


Welcome to Yellowstone Retreat Rentals! Built in 2021, our two bedroom one bathroom apartments carry all the necessities you need to visit Yellowstone. The apartment is located only four blocks from the historic Roosevelt Arch, the North Entrance to Yellowstone. We are also located a few blocks from Arch Park, which provides grills, a gazebo and picnic tables, and the neighborhood elk that tend to hang out there. With our convenient location, you will also be close to all of the wonderful shops and restaurants our little town has to offer.
As mentioned above, each unit has two bedrooms and one bathroom. It also has a laundry room, washer and dryer, with laundry soap and dryer sheets provided (nice for those guests who have been traveling for a bit!). There is a queen bed in each bedroom, and there is a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. We provide extra blankets, pillows, and sheet sets for the sleeper sofa. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo, as well as hairdryer and towels provided. We have a full kitchen with a full size oven, fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. All of the basic kitchen essentials are provided along with dish soap. You cannot carry bear spray on the airplane, which is why we provide it for you! It is located above the microwave in the kitchen. Parking in Gardiner can be a struggle - not here! There is one parking spot per unit provided, right in front of the building. There is also a paved handicapped spot right in front of our ADA unit for those in need of it.

Some important things to note :
*We DO NOT provide cable TV. We have Smart TVs and you have the ability to log in to any streaming service you carry. We have the best WIFI plan available to accommodate our working travelers and those who want to relax with a movie after a long day in the park.
*Our air conditioning unit (our AC is not central air) is located in the living room, and tower fans are provided in the closet of each bedroom.
*If you are sensitive to noise, we would recommend getting a top floor unit. We worked with our contractor to do all we can to prevent noise transference, but these are apartments with two upper units, and two lower units. We also enforce quiet time from 10pm-7am, and no parties are allowed at our apartment.
*For our ADA unit: The countertops and cabinets are lower, and there is no under sink storage in the bathroom or kitchen to accommodate our guests in wheelchairs.

We are a small family business, and love what we do. We take great pride in our business, and want to provide each guest with a 5 star experience! We call this beautiful place our home, and sharing it with our guests is a great pleasure. Please inquire with any questions you may have, we look forward to seeing you soon!

Unit 1 is in the "Gray Building". It's a compliant ADA Unit with wheelchair access throughout the whole apartment and a reserved, paved parking spot. When looking at the building, it's the bottom unit on the left.

Great place for couples or families

Great Place! Great Location!

Great location being close to the park. Place was clean and up to date. Only minor complaint is that the roads leading the to place and surrounding neighborhood was a bit run down. I suppose not much the property owners can do about that. Everything else was great. It was close to a lot of restaurants and shops.

The most satisflying place I have stayed at in years. The accommodations were clean,functional and cozy. The managers were right on top of our needs and it was very smooth getting and out. The Yellowstone Retreat was perfect for anyone wanting to visit the Park. The location was less then a 5min drive to the Park entrance. The apartments were new a very clean. The location was also just a 5min walk to eateries and shops. I would highly recommend Yellowstone Retreat to everyone visiting Yellowstone National Park through the North Entrance.

Wonderful place
We really enjoyed staying here! Walking distance to restaurants, wildlife close, and a few blocks from Yellowstone. Beds were super comfortable, kitchen had all the amenities and was beautiful. Only suggestions would be shampoo, conditioner, soap and the upstairs tenants were very loud. BUT everything else about the property canceled that out! Was so nice have a washer and dryer and also to have to do minimal tasks upon checkout. Would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect!
Perfect location and accommodations for us to meet up with family and enjoy the northern part of Yellowstone. Can walk to Roosevelt Arch as well as restaurants, etc. Just watch for elk on the streets! We headed south afterwards and went further into the park and Tetons after checking out. We couldn’t be happier about the accommodations, communication, directions, etc. Also, parking lot is deep so was able to park second vehicle behind the first.Would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I stayed here during our two-week visit to Yellowstone National Park and could not have been more pleased. The place was spotless and comfortably arranged. It was stocked with all the essential household items needed, especially in the kitchen. The washer and dryer in the unit are most convenient! In addition to this, the hosts, Jayme & Jarrett, are accommodating and communicative. They checked in on us during our stay to see if we needed anything and responded quickly when we had questions. Wanna Yellowstone / Mammoth Mtn. 2 bedroom ******Five Star, with full kitchen!?!! Roosevelt Arch, Dining and shopping all in walking distance!! Very comfy couch and chairs, sit at the dining table and watch the Elk walk by! … get the Gardiner, MT VRBO by Jayme and Jarrett!!! You will not find better!! We also stayed at Old Faithful lodge and this VRBO was much better!! This VRBO has great decor, well appointed kitchen - nice TV for watching Yellowstone videos😆👏. Loved our stay, all thanks to the attention to detail by Jayme and Jarrett!! Best hosts and location you will find - Mammoth is less than 20 min. And Tower Falls was like an hour past that. ENJOY!

Good size apt, easily slept 3 adults and 3 kids, nice kitchen area for cooking meals. Outdoor temps in mid 80's- apt was very comfortable. But not sure if AC unit could keep up with mid 90s or above. (But most ppl would not be in unit during daytime hours) would be out enjoying park and doing orher activities. You can hear ppl walking in above unit, but not bothersome, removing shoes was an excellent idea - Enjoyed our stay would recommend to others.

This property was really comfortable and clean. We loved that we could do laundry on site. There were icepacks in the fridge, a little portable cooler bag and bear spray (which we never needed, thankfully) in the cupboard. We took those when we went on hikes and into Yellowstone and just put them back when we returned. We played the board games that were provided too. Everything was in walking distance and parking was right outside our door. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a soft, quiet place to come back to after running around Gardiner all day. Jayme was in good contact with us if we needed anything so we definitely felt like if there was a problem it would be handled. It was a fun stay and Yellowstone was very cool!

Fantastic location, clean, spacious and responsive
We stayed here with my family of 4 (12 &14 year old) and my parents who are in upper 70's. Everyone loved it. I slept in the pull out couch with one of my daughters. I was worried because I have a bad back. This sofa bed was great- no uncomfortable bars. Was it the same as a bed? No, it's not magical. But my back didn't hurt after sleeping on it multiple nights. We loved walking to shops, dining, being close to the grocery store and 2 blocks away from the entrance. We all would definitely stay here again. The owners were very responsive to any questions I had. There were details that clearly show they thought through what people would need while staying here.

Modern and spacious
Jayme & Jarret's place is a lovely, spacious, modern two bedroom unit with a large kitchen and living area. We loved staying here during our visit to the northern part of YNP. The apartment is just a 2 min drive to the northern entrance of YNP and Gardiner is only 6 miles from Mammoth Springs but it does take about 15 mins to drive there because of the steep and curvy drive. This was an ideal place for getting up early and driving to Lamar Valley to view wildlife, something we were able to do a couple of times during our stay. Jayme was super responsive as a host, which we highly appreciated. There was a little glitch and we did not have shampoo in our unit but she fixed this right away. Kudos on running the place so well! The unit is very well equipped, the kitchen has modern appliances including a dishwasher and everything you might need to cook. The washing machine and dryer in the unit are super convenient. There is a an A/C in the living area which cools the entire apartment down, really needed since it was pretty hot in July. There is also a fan in each bedroom which really helped. Overall a 5-star place. We highly recommend this apartment and we would stay here again in a heartbeat.
