"This was an ideal place for us to stay - short trip to visit family in the area. We like the convenience of a kutchen to make tea, coffee and quick snacks. Location was ideal and the host was lovely - so friendly. Suite had everything we needed, plus extra touches such as toiletries and tea and coffee were provided. "

"There was mould and bugs. We didn’t stay because it would have been unhealthy. Had to leverage my visa support for a refund. This place is disgraceful - stay clear. "

"The place we stayed was a little bit away from the convenience. It was too far for walking since bus stop was distantly away. Fortunately we got rides and didn't need bus transportation. Overall the place met our satisfaction since it was in a quiet area and we only stayed for few hours for sleeping each day. "

"It was a great spot"

"Halifax was a beautiful destination. Lots to see and do. Took car trips up the Atlantic coast and saw quaint fishing villages, and towns that suffered through different maritime disasters. It was nice to have an accommodation that we could use as a hub for all our adventures. Museums were informative and plentiful. All in all we had a wonderful trip. "

"Beautiful property on a wonderful, peaceful lake. We swam, sat out on the deck for meals, saw the Milky Way lying out on the dock while loons called. Very clean and well stocked. Many great trails nearby. Convenient to airport and Halifax. Highly recommend!"

"The location is beautiful. The kitchen is poorly organized and missing some essentials while having extra non-essentials. Not enough robes or towels for every guest and there was an odd smell throughout the bathroom and washer/dryer closet. The decor is gorgeous, and we had the best time relaxing in the hot tub and lounging in the cloud-like couch and beds! Would definitely come back and home to visit your other locations as well ! "

"Our family of twelve, ranging from 4 to 65, had a lovely time at Thomas and Ola’s beautiful place. Not only was the home the perfect size for our big family, but everything in the home was all that we could have thought to want. The home allowed us to really enjoy the time we had together because it was perfect!. Finally, Ella, the property manager went above and beyond to make our stay amazing! "This space was perfect for us. Nice place on a quiet Dartmouth street near lake Banook. Check in always a breeze and the place was spacious, modern and clean with a big back yard. Would definitely stay here again. "

"The beds were for children only and not suitable for adults. There was no outside furniture to sit on or to eat. There were no curtains for privacy, no cleaning materials for dishes or spills. No coffee maker or dishes etc. The outside had not seen a lawn mower once this year. This was listed as a vrbo but is actually an arnb as the owner lives above the rental with access to the unit. Very disappointed with this listing.....this was NOT a vacation rental but more like an empty apartment...
