"We were there mostly for a place to sleep. Nonexistent communication with chatting on the app. Had to contact VRBO in order to get a number to only find out that the person listed as the host is not who you speak with. Noted hot tub. There is not one (really didn’t matter for us) The garbage out back was horrendous in smelll. Like a dead animal was in there. State’s garbage goes on Fridays. It was Friday night when we arrived and it definitely had not been taken out! Glad it was only 2 of...

"This is a wonderful place to gather. Beautifully appointed with lovely, thoughtful decorating and very well stocked with everything you would need. The beds were comfortable. We prepped our meals together, watched football, played games and had good conversations. We would definitely recommend this as a place to build memories and as a home away from home. "

"Our party of three had a great experience at this property. Plenty of room, good layout and great location. Everything was well-stocked, clean and the owner communicated well. ( The basement was great - spent way more time with the video games, darts, and ping pong than planned!) Only downsides are little things others have mentioned - maybe a little better upkeep outside, especially the screened in porch. "The house was perfect for our group of four 40-something guys on a two-day golf trip. The location couldn't have been better—just a quick 5-minute drive to Lawsonia, which made getting to the course super easy. The home itself was comfortable and had everything we needed. "

"The house is in a great location with easy access to the lake and short drive to town. With the bedrooms upstairs and downstairs, we loved that the kitchen and living room were on the level in between that allowed you to be working or watching tv and not disturb anyone. Great deck overlooking the lake and no shortage of "toys" for the kids to enjoy. We had a fabulous week at the lake."
