"The hotel was impeccably decorated for the holidays and it was beautiful! Everyone we encountered at the hotel was so polite and helpful. Our room was well appointed and had all the comforts you could think of, which included robes, slippers, umbrellas, bottled water, etc. The one drawback to the room was that it didn’t have a mini fridge. We loved having the pastries and coffee in the morning too! Bed and pillows were very comfortable!"

"What a great hotel! We've been on the road with our 8 month old son for a couple weeks. At other hotels, even if we splurged for a suite to get a little extra room for his pack n play, we had to turn the lights off once he went down to sleep. "We have a party of four our stay was excellent! All of the staff were so nice and friendly. This hotel was centrally located near everything. They had a nice breakfast that you could have in your room or in the common area. Which was very nicely decorated during our say it was complimentary water and wine. "The TV in our room never worked properly. I told the front desk the first day and asked again. No one ever came to check the TV. It was out of focus. Also, the site advertised free breakfast and a pool; there was no breakfast at all… not even coffee in lobby and the pool was drained. The staff did not offer alternatives to breakfast even though there was a place attached to one part of the hotel. I thought it was closed. My room was clean but the stairs and outside was not swept and sloppy....

"I really really liked the wine & cheese hour and the hot chocolate and cookie service at night. Breakfast was just okay. I would have liked more hot food options. Excellent place to stay

Church Street Inn, Ascend Hotel Collection

We were also able to sterilize his bottles in the kitchenette in the morning before departing. And the hotel is so centrally located to enjoy the best Charleston has to offer. Right beside the market. Restaurants all around. King Street shopping just two blocks away. We'll be talking about our stay at Church Street Inn for years. "
