"The property is very beautiful and would highly recommend for a summer stay. We saw deer and a pair of bald eagles! We were there for a work retreat so no cell service was not a concern as we did have Wi-Fi. The rustic cabin served our purpose. "

"I was in town last minute. I normally don’t stay in places like the super 8. I was so pleasantly surprised by how wonderful it was. Everything was convenient, it was a cute room and so clean. The price was amazing. Would definitely recommend as a simple option if you’re in town."

"This house is so sweet but yet has plenty of room for guests. It has everything you need to spend a few days. It’s close enough to several towns with historic main streets, restaurants and antiques. We stayed I January but summer would offer even more things to do and enjoy. "

"We had a relaxing stay, campfires "

"Our group of 8 girlfriends had an awesome time staying at this beautiful home with gorgeous views. The kitchen has most everything you need to prep a meal. There was not enough towels for shower and hut tub and ones that are there should be replaced and the cleaning crew could do a little better job dusting. In one of the bedrooms sheets did stunk and we washed them before bed time. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental and would definitely return."

"Overall our stay was very pleasant. The property was mostly clean but did have dead flies and ladybugs around. There was also a mouse in the lower level. "

"We visit annually since my brother lives and works in Decorah. Every time we visit we choose to stay here and love it. The home is comfortable, clean, and immaculate. There's more than enough space for our large group and to gather together for dinner and to just enjoy each other's company. The host is always prompt and responsive and very kind and thoughtful.
