This vacation rental is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin with a "modern-rustic" decor, nestled among trees for extra privacy. It has kitchen/dining/living areas, front porch, gas grill, and walking distance to our river area. It can comfortably sleep four people.

Casa Blanca is located between Ingram and Hunt, along the Guadalupe River, on 11 acres with multiple rentals. Guests have free access to 330' of Cypress-lined riverfront, which includes a deck extending over the river, rope swing, rock patio, and spacious lawn area. Recreational equipment and numerous outdoor meeting areas are available throughout the property. Free parking and Wi-Fi for all guests.

Casa Blanca is committed to offering every guest a clean and healthy place to sleep, eat, and relax. To make this possible, we charge a cleaning fee so every house is meticulously cleaned in between reservations.

My only critique is that the blind openers were missing on most of them making opening and closing kind of strange. Also, while the river is super close, the cabin is not directly on the river like it seems on the listing. The pros were it was quite and the location is lovely. I would go back and visit for sure!

Great Weekend Trip
Great property with many amenities and wonderful property manager. Wasn't very crowded when we stayed and had a grill and campfire with easy parking. River access was wonderful. Property manager communicated promptly and even upgraded us to another unit that has recently become available for no extra charge. Ground we clean and well taken care of.

Lovely place for getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Blanca. The property is well maintained with plenty of riverfront access. The cabin was roomy with the comfiest queen bed we’ve slept on in a rental. It was quiet and felt private even though there were other guests there. Owner and property manager were friendly and gave advice on fishing, places to eat and things to do in town.

The hosts answered questions quickly before our reservation, and were available whenever we needed them. It was a quiet weekend, the accomodations were clean, updated, and comfortable - all we desired. Hosts had upgraded the fridge, the walk to the river was short. River is directly across the street from property.

Appliances and cookware need a major upgrade
We stayed in this cabin three nights; three adults. Our intention was to simply enjoy the tranquility of the river which was great and prepare all of our meals on site. The cabin was incredibly clean and the furniture was clean. The bed was wonderful...so why weren't we happy. The tiny dorm-size refrigerator is simply not enough. When we checked in it had been left open and was warm. It took it over a day to get cold. We made two trips into town for ice. There is only room in there for a few drinks and some lunch meat in the crisper. We thought it wasn't working at all and reported it. First, told to give it more time. Gave it hours and reported it again. Was told would be by to check...never happened....finally got cold during the night. We were the only people in the camp; felt like could have been more accommodating. The toaster only worked on one setting. the TV and Wifi didn't work---I'm glad we planned on being remote and took books and games. The only cookware in the cabin was ridiculously old. The coating if there was any left was peeling off. Couldn't even find a skillet where we could fry eggs for breakfast unless you wanted to have chipped off coating in our food. There was no pitcher so couldn't have ice tea and no plastic dishes for use outside. Very few dishes or cookware actually. The over and microwave worked fine. We didn't have enough towels or washcloths for three nights and three people. Same with shampoo, etc. Glad we brought our own. The Keurig was a treat but wish there had just been a plain coffee pot. Not enough pods for three people/three days. Overall, being on the river in private property and not fighting crowds was incredibly relaxing. The property itself was great. I know it has only been owned by current owners about 6 months but I was expecting being able to cook in my unit and have the necessary items to do so. After paying all the fees, this unit cost over 200.00 per night and honestly expected more. And, just for the record, the river is down the street and across the highway. It is a small hike to get there.

Exactly what we were looking for!
Everything about Casa Blanca (our cabin, the property, the river, the location, small-town Ingram, management, just everything) was perfect. From the moment we pulled in, we were greeted and treated like family by Eddie, a great guy who was certainly attentive but by no means one to hover. Casa Blanca is the perfect place to wind down. We are already planning our next trip!

We enjoyed the cabin. My wife and I took a short vacation while the kids were at camp. The cabin was perfect and the walk to the water was good. They provided everything we needed for the water. Eddie was very interactive and engaging. Great experience for us!

Found the Casa Blanca by accident. But we had a great time exploring the the Guadalupe river. The people we came across were very friendly. Wish we had more to time to explore the area. A great shout-out to Eddie who runs the Casa Blanca he made us feel very welcomed and comfortable he and his staff were very nice and friendly. Our duplex was clean, roomy, very comfortable and had everything we needed for cooking. The only draw back was the tv reception worked off of wifi Roku it would have been fine but it was not good reception we were too far from the router. We had our own wifi and it worked for us. The river is across the road there are kayaks, life jackets, tubes, picnic tables, barbecue Pitts, wood. nice area to play on the river. The Casa Blanca is work in progress, but our stay was pleasant. Thanks Eddie for all that you did to make us feel comfortable.

Good river fun
We stopped here for 2 nights as part of a longer road trip. The duplex was very clean and well stocked. I especially appreciated the river towels provided and all the river toys that were available. There were plenty of tubes, kayaks and life vests for guests and the location on the river was perfect.

Our house was perfect! Had all the necessities we needed. Eddie and Nathan were fantastic hosts.. available, helpful, and fun. We even enjoyed a delicious crawfish boil with them. Had a big storm come through and they were there to check on us. We will most definitely be back! Wonderful atmosphere and perfect location!! Thanks for an awesome and relaxing weekend!
