"For us Ruru Whare is all about chilling out in a special place.Location by Aotea harbour is great for walks, swimming and relaxing on the studio deck watching the ever changing view. Ruru Whare is first class."

"An excellent townhouse at the front of a complex. Clean, light and airy, well equipped. As the listing suggests, the garage was a little small for our rented Toyota Camry, so we parked (as suggested) in the front lawn between the hedge and the building. Very safe and out of sight. We walked to the grocery store and prepared dinner at home!"

"This home was good for a 2 night trip. We were in the area to see Hobbiton, glow worm caves, and do a hot air balloon. This was a central location for all three. The lake across the street was pleasant and enhanced the trip. Great for morning workout/walk. Around the corner was a workout station that got the job done. There were only 2 bathrooms and showers. The host was responsive and friendly. The courtyard was nice for reading. "

"We had the most wonderful time at Awhitu. The beach down the path was so perfect for all of the kids to explore, the house has so much space for everyone to spread out and so well set up for families. "

"Property was as advertised, had a Lovely stay"

"Very nice comfortable stay in a quiet location. Has all the amenities including laundry. The Base shopping centre, grocery and bakeries are only a short drive away. The contact details (email and phone) provided on Expedia and check-in emails need to be updated as they are incorrect. Once we finally got in touch with Merryl, she was fantastic, responsive and very helpful."

"Arrived late into Auckland and needed a place to stay for early flight to Queenstown. Conveniently located across the street from the airport. Very clean and front desk staff was exceptionally nice. "

"Rooms are extremely tiny. There's barely space to walk around the bed, but that was all we needed for half a night while waiting for our flight home. The room was clean and comfortable. The shuttle bus took less than 5 mins to get to the international airport drop off area and runs every 20 mins, 24 hours a day. Free for kids and $6 for adults, so super handy. I would definitely stay there again in preparation for an early morning flight."
