Casa Mahogany is a cozy and relaxing hideaway surrounded by tropical plants and a sturdy 100 ft mahogany tree protected by Florida endangered species society. It is home to squirrels, bright green Iguanas, blue Jay birds and at times wild green Parakeets make a stop on its canopy to take a break. Next to the tree, sharing a little of its shadow, is an inviting pool and Jacuzzi that contours the landscape.
Rent boat or jet ski nearby and greet your guests at the wooden dock. The open ocean is only 20-25 minutes’ boat ride away!
Spend a quiet time fishing under the mahogany tree while enjoying the ocean breeze. The backyard faces the ocean to the east and in the morning you can often enjoy a beautiful sunrise and sometimes in the evening an impressive full moon.
Casa Mahogany from the moment you walk in, you get a feeling of spacious, relaxing, non-cluttered space yet a place that makes you feel comfortable right away. The house is an open plan design with water views visible from all rooms. It has 3 large bedrooms, 2 and half bathrooms and a large Florida room with a bar, 55” HDTV and plenty of seating. The kitchen is fully equipped, there is a separate laundry room and a relaxing outdoor patio, accessible from all rooms in this bungalow. All beds have 100% cotton sheets and guest are provided 100% premium quality cotton bath and hand towels.
Other than visit the beautiful golden sand beaches and refreshing blue ocean there is an abundance of activities to do in Pompano.
See known artists, bands or an orchestra play at Pompano Amphitheater.
Visit the Pompano Park and Isle Casino to try your luck or watch live horse harness track racing.
Enjoy a variety of water sports, paddle boarding, scuba diving, para-sailing and more.

Fantastic
We came for spring break and the house was located in a great neighborhood, neighbors were friendly. The house is very well kept, everything you need for an enjoyable vacation. Pool and hot tub was perfect. Definitely would stay again. Any questions I had Nigel answered them immediately. I would highly recommend!

The host was amazing in every way ..very easy to communicate with… the best part is waking up on the canal with a beautiful sunrise! Very convenient short easy ride to a beautiful beach with restaurants… grocery stores, and all the conveniences minutes away… there is a lot of space in this home, and a patio with lush greenery ,beautiful pool & hot tub made it the perfect setting to enjoy life with family & friends .

We loved the location. Short drive to the ocean and many restaurants. Close enough drive to Fort Lauderdale and airport. Received excellent information on everything from the hosts. Had a issue with the hot tub but received quick response and fix within a day. Highly recommended. Would rent again if we ever return to the area.

Great Place!!
Had a fantastic time. Property is beautiful, clean. Kids loved the pool and hot tub, and fishing in the canal (no luck though!). Owners responded quickly to questions. Location is short drive to Pompano Beach, and Ft Lauderdale and Del Ray Beach are 30 min away. Pompano Community Park has nice playground and running path.

Family Thanksgiving
As soon as you walk through the door you know you are where you are supposed to be. The home is beautiful and large enough to accommodate our family of 10 for our Thanksgiving dinner. The outdoor scenery is stunning! We could not have asked for better hosts. Nigel was concerned for our happiness, comfort, and was so understanding when we were “surprised “ with a visit from our family from North Carolina. Great place to stay in Pompano Beach!
This is a wonderful home to stay in Pompano Beach! We were a group of 8 (4 adults and 4 children). The home was equipped very well, was a wonderful thing to barbeque in Floridas warm night and sit outside by the pool. Kids loved the pool and hot tub. Our group thought the home was even better than on the photos, we would definetely stay there again if we ever come back to Florida. Nigel and Maria always replied to our messages quikly and were very helpful. The location was perfect, a quiet neigborough but close to restaurants and grocery stores. But of course you need a car. Perfect place for a vacation!

We totally enjoyed our stay here over Spring Break. The backyard is so peaceful with the pool, hot tub, a great view and canal breezes to keep you cool. The house is set up great for large or small groups. Bedrooms have good separation and there are many futons available for kids. The bathrooms make you feel that you are at a spa! The owners have stocked the house with lots of extras like pool toys, fishing poles and laundry supplies which make it super convenient and they are very responsive if you need anything. Lastly Pompano is a great town and the beach is really nice too. Thank you Nigel and Maria!

Beautiful Pool!
We enjoyed our time here! The pool is big and so beautiful with the canal in the background. Our only complaint was the the hot tub didn't work properly. It would only heat when the bubbles were on full blast which is quite uncomfortable after awhile. I also wish there would have been more pool towels, pillowcases for the extra pillows and a starter bottle of detergent. The living room TV also broke but the owner was quick to purchase a replacement. Overall I would recommend this place!

Incredible!
Where can I start? From check in- how easy it was to work with Nigel. Answered a few questions we had via texting and emailing. We stayed a couple of weeks over the holidays. The pool and hot tub were warm and perfect! Location was great! A couple of driving miles to the beaches. Went to four beaches within 20 miles- very safe and clean. We went to a handful of restaurants up and down the inter coastal and oceanfront. We stayed the past couple of years in Naples, Venice and by far this side was the best for entertainment, friendly people and proximity. West coast was beautiful and beaches but a lot more to do on the east coast in our families opinion. I would highly recommend- felt very safe and neighbors were super nice! Highly recommend! Thank you!

A beautiful oasis
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at casa mahogany. The home was well laid out and equipped and for our party of 7 perfectly. The backyard was beautiful. We caught several fish out of the canal - thanks Nigel and Maria for the fishing rods- and spent our days soaking up the sun by the pool. The property has just the right mix of sun and shade - for those who want sun there was always a spot to lounge and those who wanted shade could easily find that as well. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful, grocery stores were less than five min away. The beach was about a 10mim drive. Nigel and Maria were very easy to deal with and checking in and out was seamless. Overall we loved it and will return when we can.

Our family stayed in this particular location so we could be near family and on the water. The house was very clean and very spacious - all the rooms were good sized and the bathrooms were updated nicely – 2 1/2 baths were quite welcomed.. The area is convenient to lots - only 4 mins to a Publix and restaurants, etc. I would say that, when we booked, although advertised as a three bedroom, the third bedroom is actually a converted den (which worked fine) with two futons, not actual beds. These could work for a small child or person, but not for our 18-yr-old.

Pool dirty, hot tub also dirty and jets in the hot tub were not working.
Owner was aware of pool and hot tub situation but the person in charge of cleaning and fixing it was not very helpful. Unsure of when pool was last cleaned. Unfortunately we couldn’t use either during our week stay which was one of the reasons we chose this house to rent. Grill was very dirty upon our arrival and we had to clean it ourselves before using it. The beds were very comfortable and the place is close to the beaches, grocery store, and restaurants. Being right on a canal was a plus and we were able to see some cool fish and a manatee with her baby! There are iguanas to watch as well. The owner is very receptive to comments and any concerns which was great.

My New Favorite Place
Our family stayed at Casa Mahogany for 13 days. It was myself, grand parents ,11 year old twins and my uncle who lives in Florida. There was plenty of room. I love to travel we stay at resorts and air BNB. my absolute favorite place Is Casa Mahogany. The back yard is absolute paradise. We visited in late July when it was very hot but the beautiful Mahogany tree provided ample shade so we were not in the direct sun and the pool kept us cool. The tree was home to parrots which the kids loved sitting in chairs and Watching the birds visit. The kids loved fishing right off the dock. We were visited by turtles and a momma duck every night. The house is fully equipped with everything we needed and clean. The neighborhood is safe I walked every morning alone. Only a 5 min drive to the beach maybe less. So many grocery stores and restaurants just minutes away it was great. Nigel is a fantastic host. Any issues which were small Or questions we had he was quick to answer. Neighbors in the neighborhood were very kind. I truly did not want to leave and I would absolutely return to casa mahogany. This trip Was To just relax and spend time with family my parents are in their 70s, my uncle 60s, my twins 11 we all absolutely enjoyed our time at the house and can’t thank Nigel enough for sharing his beautiful property with us.
