"Quaint, quiet, and cozy cabin nestled right on Claytor Lake. The cabin was clean and just as described and pictured. Husband and I were having a get-a-way weekend and it was perfect. Had one rolling storm come through and it was wonderful to listen to the rain hitting the metal roof. Love that this owner allows access to canoes, kayaks and watershed. My hubby and I went in the lake each day; he fished and I just enjoyed the peace and quiet. Saw all kinds of wildlife during our time on the water...

The setting was peaceful and tranquil, especially with the stream running along the cabin. The cabin gives you the feel as if you are back in the 1800s, yet had all of the modern conveniences to enjoy and relax with. The complimentary bottle of wine was so nice! We will be back!"
