"The owner has done absolutely everything and more to make this a top vacation spot. Interior has an amazing log cabin feel, cozy, rustic, and welcoming. Everything you could need. Check in and out was easy, and although it was too cold to be outside much. it’s easy to see that there’d be a lot of options with a fire pit, grill, and steps down to the river. Place felt spacious and homey. 5 stars overall, although be aware that the neighboring properties are very close, so might not be as much privacy in summer months when people are outside, and some of the neighbors are displaying large and prominent political signs, which may make it hard to relax for anyone trying to switch off and get away from the world. None of that is the owners fault though- important to reiterate that the property itself is as good as it gets on Vrbo. "

"Country Inn and Suites in Freeport is highly recommended. We stayed here many times either with my husband to celebrates our anniversaries and also with friends to celebrates birthdays. The staffs are friendly and welcoming especially the manager Miss Becky. I can’t wait for the next stay. "

"At check in they noticed my wife was using a walker and changed our room without asking or telling us to a handicap accessible room. Such a big surprise. Breakfast was fantastic too. Pool is under construction at this time. Be aware. Not sure how long until it will be open"

"We loved it the moment we arrived. We spent two nights there with our Frieds and their little dog (we have a little dog too). Great fenced in yard and cozy porch. The kitchen Is stocked with everything you need, we brought lasagna, steak, crab legs. Comfy beds too. We will go back for sure!"
