Excellent location, snow everywhere, everything very clean, the fireplace is amazing and has everything you need for a few different days. "This was first time in the area, We had most wonderful stay at hodge podge lodge. The house was beautiful and sparking clean, well organized and have everything what we needed for stay. It located in nice neighborhood near soda spring ski resort. The house was warm and cozy , heater was good , wood stove was nice touch with plenty of firewood supplies. The bedroom was spacious and beds were comfortable. It was big plus to have easy in and out drive way to the house. We definitely recommend...

"Great get away, remote yet within easy reach of Nevada City and Grass Valley. Was a wonderful place for our post-thanksgiving family retreat (7 people, ages 17-83 plus dogs) where we bonded with lots of good conversation in the lovely house which is well designed with open spaces. Secure gated area for dogs which is very nice. Lovely property to stroll around. Recommend day trip to Empire Mine and to Nevada City. Overall, a terrific visit"
