The pub itself was very welcoming with very good lunch and evening meals and an excellent breakfast. Dogs were also made welcome with an outside area exclusively for them, but it is a shame not all dog owners apprecited this and were not responsible for cleaning up after them. If in the summertime should the pub or the very nice large public gardens get crowded all residents could take advantage of the residents garden. We hope to return with family members later in the year as it was so good. Clean, well presented room with all the things you would expect, including an electric fan to use when the nights were hot! The pub had a great selection of drinks, including two real ales on draft. Due to other plans we did not eat an evening meal but were delighted with the quality and selection of the breakfasts. The staff were very attentive and did all they could to make sure our stay was great.
