Used this mostly as a jumping off point while we hiked a glacier, saw the northern lights, dined in downtown Anchorage, and visited Girdwood. Host is kind and responsive. "Gorgeous place with amazing ocean views from the deck and almost every room! Look down and enjoy the horses and expansive property. The furniture is well made and comfortable and supplied with cozy throw blankets. We entered to see coffee tea and fresh flowers. "In the foothills overlooking Anchorage. Liked the location. Downstairs apartment with quite a few stairs so not good for anyone with problems walking or toting heavy suitcases. Some upstairs noise. Living room and kitchen quite small but we made do as we were gone most of the time. More suited to a couple than three though and not really set up for cooking meals. Two nice size bedrooms. Full size bathroom but could use some updating. Lovely porch with view of city. Nice quiet neighborhood."
