Room was very up to date, though wifi poor. Enough outlets, bathroom very nice. Chose a premium room w fireplace. With 2 easy chairs and table a pleasant place to do some work. Tram is noisy, but i like it (as have lived by them in past). Jakes was fabulous for dinner. Much better then lat time. Staff helpful. Great location. Close to everything. Nearby...

It’s only 2 min walk from Powell's (my favorite place in Portland) and the heart of the downtown shopping area. The hotel itself was very spacious and clean, but for a reasonable price! They had the cushiest bed and bathrobes for us to use. My only gripe was that the wifi was pretty awful. It was slow and constantly cut out, so I wouldn’t recommend this place for working travel as the wifi wasn’t reliable. "
