It could be expected for a luxury resort to provide amenities that cater to guests’ enjoyment, but to be able to make guests feel at home is something that not all properties can achieve. Everyone in this resort was extra friendly and warm to us! We’d like to commend Shamal, the duty manager, who we now consider a dear friend for going the extra mile and accommodating me and my wife during our stay. "

"Stayed here for 5 nights, we were welcomed by the manager and other staff on arrival - they helped us with everything from arranging speedboat transfers for arriving and leaving the island to booking excursions. The hotel and rooms were nice and modern and had everything we needed, the buffet breakfast was nice and had different choices each day. The location was perfect, a 5 min walk to a beautiful quiet bikini beach, we also had transport to take us to the sandbank at the bottom of the island. We went on an excursion to snorkel with manta rays, the boat captain and guide were friendly and service was great. The island itself is quite small so everywhere is walkable, there’s a lot of wildlife to see on land and in the sea and everyone is friendly. I would choose to stay here again."

"This was our trip to the Maldives and our first time at Lily's. Traveling during the low season helped us avoid the crowds and high prices. The Sunset water villa, which comes with a personal butler, is highly recommended. Our butler, Mussey, took care of all our needs. While our stay wasn't perfect, Mussey resolved all issues efficiently and swiftly. Despite being one of the older properties in the Maldives, Lily's maintains its rooms and grounds very well. With over six decades combined in the hospitality industry, my wife and I can be quite critical about accommodations and service standards. We'll return to collect our special memories scattered throughout the resort and island."

Prices also weren’t quite as punitive as we’ve seen in the Maldives before (eg champagne for USD50, cocktails for USD12). "
