"I wanted to go to Florida for my son's spring break, but he wanted to do something different from all his friends, so we ended up in the UP, and I am glad we did! I don't think I have seen a better sunset anywhere!The house is beautiful, with an amazing great room, killer kitchen and the master bathroom has the largest shower I have ever been in!The beach is sandy, wild and rugged (given the time of year, we did not go in the water)The firepit with supplied firewood was quite the added bonus. We will definitely be back in summer to swim and kayak!"

"I vacation to the UP for the specific purpose of feeling like time slows down. This property feels like stepping back in time. The appliances, fixtures, etc. are updated and in good repair, but the overall vibe of the property is definitely 70s/80’s. No issue for us, just know that it’s not “modern” decor and furnishings. Unbelievable location and view, right on little bay de noc of Lake Michigan. No regrets of our stay. "

"We stayed in early September 2024 and could not have had better weather for watching the sunrise from the porch, cooking dinner on the grill, and gazing at the stars at night. The home is comfortable and well stocked with bed, bath, and kitchen basics, supplying nearly everything you could need. The adjacent properties are screened by trees, lending a feeling of privacy and solitude. Pay heed to the warnings about GPS devices being spotty and double-check your device’s directions against a detailed visual map before hitting the road to make sure you’re being taken where you need to go—and not to/along an unimproved Jeep trail!"
