This would not normally be a concern as its Niagara Falls so would be doing the touristy thing around lunch. We were there mid-week February during a snow storm and didn't want to go out unless necessary "

"I had an unforgettable stay at the Oakes Hotel in Niagara Falls, especially given the snowy weather during Family Day weekend. The check-in staff were fantastic, setting the tone for a great stay. When I first arrived at my room, the layout was a little unusual, but it made for a fun story to share. At first, the windows were frozen over, so I couldn't enjoy the iconic view of the falls, which was a bit of a letdown. However, after exploring the area for a few hours, I returned to the most magical sight—the falls in all their glory, visible through my windows! The experience was truly special, and I’ll always cherish the memories. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and I can’t wait to return someday."
