"Not a bad resort in the Nanoose/Parksville area. I would say the only downside was the size of the unit, and the lack of functioning furniture. Would have been nice to have a desk or in the very least a coffee table. Plus side, the outdoor hot tub was a great addition to the nightly rental. There is also a gym and indoor pool as well. "

"Long stairway up to lobby. Staff carried our luggage up but it was very inconvenient to get to parking. We left to go out to dinner and there was no parking available. I phoned the hotel and they gave me directions to another parking lot which turned out to be several blocks away. We are elderly and this was without a doubt the worst parking situation I have encountered. It was pouring rain and very dark. When we checked in originally we had to pay another $15 because we were 2 hours early....

"Comfortable, quiet room. The restaurant is top-notch, high-quality delicious food. The sauna, pool & change rooms are immaculately clean. A perfect place for a fabulous, relaxing weekend getaway."

"Conveniently located close to the beach and next to a Parksville mini-golf institution, it's been there so long, The Tide's Inn is exceedingly clean, recently redecorated so it's now possibly considered "vintage retro', and affordable. Rooms have the basic amenities, and the beds and pillows are truly comfortable. The staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful. However, and despite the exterior cinder block construction, the building is from pre-1975, and the walls between the units thin....

"Such a great stay for the price! My partner and I visited Gibsons in the cold winter, and were shocked to find the pool area was open! The pool was incredibly warm and I was able to swim, enjoy the hot tub, and the amazing sauna. Had ourselves a little spa day! The front desk was incredibly sweet and kind, and the room was lovely. We even had a private balcony! I will absolutely come back here again, and would recommend it to all travellers of Gibsons. The location is so primo, and the price...

"The staff are friendly and accomodating. The inn is older and room definately showing its age, but it was clean and cozy. I like the price, and it's across from the park and ocean. I would stay here again."
