"Really clean, breakfast excellent as always and, even in the middle of refurbishment and redecoration the service is brilliant. Friendly staff who will always go over and above. Car parking permit a bonus too while the car park is partially closed."

"All excellent except when validating parking on arrival the machine is under cover before the hotel entrance however this area correctly is signed no smoking but people were smoking. I asked them to move which they did eventually but it is disgusting trying to input details whilst being poisoned but cigarette smoke. Shame staff cannot use CCTV to enforce this"

"Stay here when working in the area. It does everything well. The food is good, the rooms are good with comfy beds. The service in the restaurant is top class and overall very friendly. Definitely recommend rather than pay over inflated prices in nearby chain hotels."

"Excellent service from the super friendly and helpful receptionist. The room was spacious with an incredibly comfortable bed and luxurious feeling bedding.Very effective blackout curtains. Great shower, plenty of hot water and good quality toiletries provided. Perfect location and looking beautifully festive. We will return!"
