It would have been nice to be reminded about this important fact in the check-in text and email we received, so that we could have at least brought some water...

The layout is quite open, though unfortunately, the master bath is located behind the kitchen, away from the bedrooms. Many of the lights in the kitchen and living room were out, making the ambiance of the house quite dim. »
