"Great property for a quick stay. Very convenient and close to Pike Place Market. The employee seemed to be confused concerning the sale of beer or wine in the 11:00 hour. We were on vacation and wanted a beer before we ventured out. It was more than complicated to order a couple of beers. "Excellent property the staff were extremely friendly and helpful especially the front desk man on arrival on 3 Jan as we got there early morning and he checked us straight in. Great location easy walk to the tourist locations and train station. Would definitely recommend and I’ll stay again if I’m in Seattle."

"Fantastic historical charm. My 6th floor corner room has 12 foot ceilings, deep crown molding, 4 enormous windows, dark solid wood furnishings and a whirlpool tub. Lounge downstairs looks like a gentleman's club: deep upholstery, dark corners, beautiful,well stocked bar. This place! It's a well preserved gem in a vibrant part of town."
