Todd & Andy McKee, The McKee Brothers, own and operate the Litch Hotel which is part of Eagle Cap Vacation Rentals. They both live in Wallowa County, near Enterprise and are available to be onsite quickly if a need arises.
Ruby Peak is located in the historic Litch Hotel on the corner of Main Street and River Street in Downtown Enterprise. Enterprise is generally quieter and slower paced than its more famous neighbor Joseph. Many guests that stay in the Litch Hotel have noted their appreciation for this feature of the location. On the other hand Joseph is a short 10 minute drive away making it a convenient access point to the many outdoor adventures that our guests plan to enjoy during their stays.
Back in the day, the Litch Hotel had 11 apartments and just one bathroom on the 2nd floor (can you imagine?! 😅), but don’t worry — times have definitely changed! Now, you’ll have your very own private bathroom and kitchen, so no awkward run-ins while you’re making that midnight snack 🍕. The entryway outside your unit is the only shared space, so feel free to get cozy and relax however you like — no one’s around to judge your Netflix binges or late-night PJs! 😎🛋️

A large bathroom with tile floors and a rain shower inside a large stand up tiled shower. A hiking themed hand drawn mural adorns the wall and large sink and lit mirror provides more than enough space for make up application.

The kitchen is well appointed. New appliances and new quartz countertops provide ample of food prep space. Appliances such as a Keurig coffee maker, blender and toaster help make the kitchen meet every guests needs. 16 spices and olive oil ensure your meals will be full of flavor. A small dining table by the front window along with two dining chairs allows for a comfortable dining experience using locally hand made plates, bowls and coffee cups. The kitchen opens into a living room space that provides a comfortable leather sofa facing a large HD flat screen smart TV. The living room also includes a cool chair suspended from the ceiling that guests are able to sit on.

The front door opens on to River Street directly across from the historical Wallowa County building. Your just a short walk away from several eating establishments and just a short drive away from the Wallowa Lake and the many outdoor opportunities that the Eagle Caps offer. There is plenty of on street parking for guests in the block surrounding the Litch Hotel. In more than a year of operating the hotel, we haven't had a guest complain about not being able to find convenient parking.

Wallowa Lake is about 15 minutes by car, and trust us, it’s worth the trip for a day of lakeside adventures. 🛶🎣
Need supplies? No worries — the grocery store is just a stone’s throw away. Perfect for stocking up on snacks or dinner essentials. 🍔🍫
Parking? Easy peasy! Free parking is right outside, so no need to stress about finding a spot.
Not in the mood to drive? No problem! Enterprise is totally walkable, and biking around the area is always a great idea! 🚴♀️🌞
UNIT DETAILS & POLICIES
NOISE CONSIDERATIONS:
INTER-UNIT NOISE: Our building is over 110 years old and does not have the soundproofing found in more modern structures. You will hear noise from adjacent occupied units and should be mindful of the noise you make as well.
PET-FRIENDLY UNIT NOTICE: Our unit welcomes guests with and without pets. While many visitors without pets have a great stay, we want to remind everyone that we cannot guarantee a dander-free environment. This may affect individuals with dog or cat allergies.
PET POLICIES FOR GUESTS WITH PETS:
NUMBER OF PETS: A maximum of 3 pets allowed per reservation. Notify us at booking or as soon as possible if there are any changes.
PET FEE: A non-refundable fee of $30 per night for each pet is required, including for ESAs. This fee will be billed separately about a week before your visit.
BEHAVIOR AND ACCOMMODATIONS: Pets must be leashed in common areas, are not allowed on furniture or beds, and must not be left unattended in the unit.
CLEAN UP: Owners must clean up after their pets; supplies are provided under the kitchen sink for indoor mishaps.
DAMAGE AND LIABILITY: Guests are financially responsible for any damage or incidents caused by their pets. Owners will not be held liable for injuries or damages.
SAUNA DISCLOSURE: The Rosy Peak unit you have reserved has a sauna for your private use. Use of the sauna is at guests’ sole risk. Eagle Cap Vacation Rentals makes no representations or warranties concerning the use of the sauna. Guests must be cautious using the sauna. Guests must be fully aware that the sauna can be dangerous and may result in injury or death. Pregnant women should not use the sauna. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult when using the sauna.
CHECK-IN: Anytime after 3:00 PM. Early check-in options available:
COMPLIMENTARY: Call after 12:30 PM on your arrival day, if your condo is ready we will let you check-in early.
GUARANTEED: Pre-arrange early check-in for $20/hour.
CHECK-OUT: Required by 11:00 AM; late check-out available at $20/hour.
NO SMOKING: Smoking is prohibited within the condo.
PARTIES: Require prior approval.
QUIET HOURS: 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
BEDS: Our beds include medium-firm memory foam mattresses, which most guests love but occasionally a guest finds too firm.
SECURITY: A video doorbell is in place on the exterior of the entrance.
ENTRANCE DETAILS: This unit's front door opens directly onto the main thoroughfare in Enterprise. Blinds provide complete privacy and street noise has not been a significant concern to past guests.
VENTILATION: This condo doesn't have any windows that can be opened. We account for this in 3 ways, 1) a ductless AC/Heat mini split, 2) ceiling fan and 3) an air purifier.
WASHER/DRYER: there is no washer/dryer on site. There is a laundromat about 2 blocks away and you we offer a wash/fold service as well (Details available in our guidebook).
