The property is well-kept and definitely delivered on many aspects of the ‘luxury’ experience. "We were happy with the cottage. Very clean and beds were comfortable. Looked newly renovated. The only criticism I have is it isn't noted in the description that the water has a smell and is not drinkable. The owner provides a 15L jug of water but it's good to make aware of these things prior. We would rent again!"

"Beautiful home, love the chalet style decoration with lots of space for everyone to be together comfortably. We were 8 adults celebrating a birthday, just wanting to chill out and swim, it was perfect for us. The kitchen was well appointed, love the espresso machine, the fridge with the bottle chilling drawer and the pantry loaded with condiemnts, etc. The beds were suer comfy and the stereo system with the turntable was a real plus. "Property was easy to find. The location was not what i was expecting. The house is cute. Kitchen had basic utilities which suited our needs. No extractor fans in the kitchen or bathroom. We set the smoke detector off when we were cooking. You are not able to control the temperature in the house as there was no thermostat. I am assuming it was in the house next door. "This is what VRBO is supposed to be in my mind. A nice room with a private bath and a place for our dog for a good price. And that is exactly what we got. So pleased and we’ll be back the next time we are in Peterborough!!!"

"This well appointed, comfortable and clean location was ideal for our 11 person, multi-generational family reunion. "My husband and I stayed here over New Years and really enjoyed our time! The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the easy to use hot tub which was set up for us before we arrived. While it didn't impact our overall experience too much, we thought a bit more focus on cleaning would really elevate the stay even further.
