"East of the sun was an older property but was clean with a friendly staff. They took care of things when needed in a timely manner. There was quite a bit of dog poop in the back yard some fresh and some older. It was a short walk to the beach and they did supply a wagon, boogy boards, and chairs. "

"We decided on a last minute trip, and honestly couldn’t have found a better place or hosts. The suite was immaculate, beautifully decorated and had everything we could’ve hoped for or needed. Everything from a coffee bar, fresh baked sweets, a fireplace, hot tub, fire pit, spa robes and toiletries we had forgotten. We truly didn’t want to leave. The hosts were attentive and very accommodating. Highly recommend for a peaceful, private, romantic getaway! It was amazing and cannot wait to return....

"Nice little place. The biggest issue was the washing machine. It sounded like a jet engine taking off. We couldn’t wash clothes and have a relaxing conversation or tv. The coffee pot blew a fuse. The dishwasher door just drops. It hit my shin and bruised me. The shower heads were terrible. We couldn’t wait to get home to our own showers. Having said all of that, the bed was good. "We would stay here again. It is a duplex turned into 4 rentals, but it was roomy enough for 6 people and 2 dogs. The A/C was ice cold and had a separate air conditioner for each bedroom and living space. The location is great - only about 20 feet from beach access and 0.6 mile walk to shopping and food. The host responded to texts quickly. The people we met were all so nice. This is a rental and city I want to visit again. "

"We came for a wedding and had a lovely stay. G ot the tail end of Hurricane Helene and were high and dry. The beach is lovely. I had for gotten how much I enjoy Atlantic beaches. There is also a pool for those who don't want sand between their toes! The unit was well stocked and had everything you would need to cook a meal. I hope to come back to Emerald Isle!"
