"This hotel needs to be updated. The carpets on the stairs and in the rooms were threadbare. Not all the corridor light switches worked, our loo did not flush initially but my husband fixed it, as he did the showerhead which did not stay in the correct positon ( using the showercap box). There were not enough electric sockets which you need nowadays with phones etc needing charging. The free wifi was fine though. The garden was ok but a few flowers would have made it somewhere you wanted to...

"We stayed here overnight before catching a ferry at St Malo. It turned out to be further than we expected, but the hotel was easy to find in the centre of the village with plenty of parking. The family room we were in was large and clean with a bath and shower and suited our needs perfectly. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for a wedding banquet and there was very little alternative options nearby. Ended up with bread and ham from the supermarket. "Lovely hotel close to the beach. Our room had a lovely balcony with sea view, but some traffic noise from the road below . Not very busy road though. Comfortable hotel with no frill , very pleasant staff."

The hotel reception is only manned for limited hours and not overnight with an emergency telephone number given in case of need. No car parking on site but convenient public parking free nearby. Hospitality tray not provided."
