« If you’re looking for a comfortable, relaxing place to stay, look no further! This cute home located right next to Shawnee National Forest was the perfect weekend getaway for us and our dogs. The house is back in the woods with over 8 acres to explore. And the stars at night were incredible! Everything was very clean and our host provided bottled water and had all the makings for coffee. Will definitely stay here again next time we visit! »

« We had a great stay at the cabin! We didn't get their until late on a Fri, but Brian let us stay as late we we wanted to checkout on Sunday which was great. The hot tub water had just been changed, so the was only 56 degrees when we got there. However, he gave us a reimbursement for the inconvenience and were able to get in late the following day. The water pressure was only a trickle, and 1 shower never got warm. Otherwise the cabin had mostly everything we needed. Would be good to have a...

« We have been renting vacation properties for 25 years, including all over the So IL/Shawnee area, and this cabin, and its location, is by far our favorite in the area! Allison is WONDERFUL and worked w our needs for our stay (we had to make last minute reservations to attend funeral services). Gorgeous home, gorgeous property, even better owners.
