You will stay in this half-timbered house dating from 1666, located in the picturesque city walls. This house combining charming Alsatian furniture has all modern comforts.

A trip back in centuries
The maison and location are truly a feeling of reliving a time way back in the 17th century. You open a window to a street of amazingly well restored and maintained houses and a cobblestone street barely changed if at all save for maintenance since the 1600's. Inside the feeling is similar except for all the modern conveniences we all are accustomed to. This is truly a gem . Carmen is sincerely accommodating and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at L’Aubaine! Eguisheim is a beautiful village and this property is in the heart of it all. The property is cozy and comfortable with a newly renovated bathroom and washing machine, which was great in the middle of a 3 week trip! There are 2 bedrooms upstairs, one with a full bed and one with a twin. There is also a pull out sofa in the living room. Parking is on the street but we found spaces nearby with little trouble. Overall we had a wonderful stay and I would definitely recommend this property to others.

A beautiful character property in a gem of a village
We had a lovely week staying in this typical Alsatian house. It had everything we needed for self catering but there are plenty of places to eat out too. The house was immaculate and comfortable. We arrived in a heat wave - thankfully there were two fans to cool us down. We enjoyed the selection of local produce to sample (including a gift of a bottle of local Riesling and a Bundt cake which disappeared quickly) Eguisheim is also very well placed for the wine route and many interesting historical and cultural sites. One of the highlights was driving the Route des Crêtes to the Grand Ballon for spectacular views of the Vosges mountains and the Rhine valley.

Das war’s dann aber auch. Eng, dunkel, warm, laut. Durch die Lage direkt in der Altstadt ist an Nachtruhe vor 23:00 nicht zu denken. Sehr kleines Doppelbett. Eine Winterdecke: auch im Hochsommer!!! Schimmel in der Dusche. Terrasse und Hausmüllplatz in einem. Unübertroffen die sehr!! kurzen Wege zum einkaufen und in die Gastronomie

Nicht für gehbehinderte Personen!!Zusatzkosten!!
Das Häuschen ist nett eingerichtet, schön gelegen. Was nicht in der Anzeige steht:-es ist mit den engen steilen Stufen nicht für gehbehinderte Personen geeignet. Auch die Zusatzkosten für Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind nicht aufgeführt. Ebenso der Parkplatz, man kann nicht!! am Haus Parken, wäre wohl zusätzlich kostenpflichtig, war aber auch gar nicht möglich. Wir haben das Auto während des Ausräumens auf den Plätzen für Anwohnern kurz stehen lassen und prompt einen Strafzettel erhalten, Höhe der Strafe steht noch aus..

Joli mais petit
Petite maison très propre et bien située dans le village. La maîtresse de maison s'est montrée adorable et chaleureuse. Une friandise alsacienne nous attendait. Le seul problème est que la maison n'est pas prévue pour des adolescents. Les plafonds sont bas et le réseau wifi très instable. Impossible de jouer en réseau ou de regarder des vidéos en streaming. Conséquences : au bout de 8 jours enfants et mari demandaient à rentrer.

Très beau village.
Agréable séjour à 4 personnes dans une maison typique bien équipée. Idéalement située dans le village avec double entrée dont une directement sur la zone piétonne. Possibilité de stationner le véhicule dans une rue adjacente à quelques mètres. Très beau village. Merci pour votre attention à l'arrivée ! Spécialité délicieuse !

Schöne Tage im Elsass
Ein sehr schönes Haus im Zentrum von Eguisheim. Fachwerkhaus mit sehr gut ausgerüsteter Küche, gemütlichem Wohnzimmer in der ersten Etage. Colmar und viele interessante Weinorte liegen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Es gibt gut ausgeschilderte Wanderwege. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Nous avons passé un super séjour pour les vacances de Toussaint en Alsace. L'accueil de madame Mathis a été très bon malgré notre arrivée tardive. La maison, typiquement alsacienne, avec de petites pièces bien agencées et confortables nous a permis de faire un bon break par rapport à notre vie quotidienne. Nous y retournerons surement...

Gemütliches und gepflegtes Häuschen
- Absolut sauber. -Liebevoll eingerichtet. - Wunderschönes historisches Ambiente. - Top und umfassend ausgestattet. - Gute Lage in einem sehr schönen Strässchen. - An alles hat der Vermieter gedacht. Es fehlte nichts. - Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter. - Auch wenn die Wohnung etwas teurer ist, sie ist jeden Euro wert. - Ganz kleiner Nachteil: Der kostenlose Parkplatz für den Pkw ist nicht direkt vor der Tür. Aber nur eine Straße weiter und das ist hinnehmbar. - Für Menschen mit Gehbehinderung sind die Treppen im Haus ein Problem. Unsere 88jährige Oma kam aber zurecht. - Eguisheim ist auch als Standort für Erkundungen im Elsass sehr gut geeignet und hat uns als Städtchen mit am besten gefallen. Wir bedanken uns bei Familie Mathis für einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in Eguisheim. Gerne kommen wir noch einmal zu Besuch!

Wunderschönes, stilvolles historisches Haus mit überaus netten und herzlichen Vermietern
Wir haben wunderschöne Ferientage in historischer Umgebung von Eguisheim verbracht. Das Haus aus dem 17. Jahrhundert ist liebevoll restauriert und stilvoll mit alten Möbeln eingerichtet, der kleine Garten läd zum draußen Essen ein, wer aus der Haustüre tritt fühlt sich ins Mittelalter zurückversetzt. Die Vermieter sind überaus herzlich, nett, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Eguisheim war für uns der ideale Standort um das südliche Elsass und die Hochvogesen zu erkunden. Wir haben nichts vermisst und uns rundum wohl gefühlt.
