"This property was EXCEPTIONALLY clean! It appeared that this was a brand new facility in every area we were in. The showers were very clean, including the shower curtain. The toilet looked like it had never been sat on. We stayed in a primitive cabin, with our own locked toilet and locked shower room within a communal building. The entire building was immaculate! Our cabin was perfectly clean as well. The only issue was a torn screen on one of the windows and even with the heat "off", it was too warm to sleep. We opted to turn the breaker off to the heat and slept very well (47-59° outside during our stay). The staff was very friendly and helpful. My son loved feeding the trout and petting the lodge cat. No wifi, ac, or tv in the primitive cabin, but we dont use those things anyway. When i needed to call home, i stood on the porch of the gift shop/lobby/restaurant and got a strong wifi signal to video call. We will definitely be back! We look forward to being lulled to sleep by the Elk River (borders property) again! "

"My family and I had a great experience here. The host was very accommodating and understood when something did go wrong (on our end). The property did have a few issues but those are honestly due to it being a rental and not caused by host neglect. We would absolutely stay again."

"We had about 20 people in this house and it worked very well! It's got plenty of bedrooms to accommodate and a great main floor for everyone to eat in and hang out in. The lower level has a very nice area for the kids so it wasn't always all of us on one floor. It snowed most of the time we were there so we were a little worried about getting out of the sloped driveway but there was a snow shovel and we managed to clear it up enough to get out. The kitchen was one of the better stocked ones we've used. Beds were comfortable. It's a huge house to keep clean but we felt it was very well kept. Very reasonable check out instructions and all around a great stay. "

"We had a 7 day stay with Family coming from all over the east coast. the property is maybe a little tired (but still better than my house), but everything worked and nothing was anywhere near bad. We gave the place a run for it's money and it held up well. The views were spectacular. the atmosphere was tremendous. "
