Liked that it was very cosy, very comfortable bed, exceptionally helpful and polite staff. Liked the dining room and bar areas and the open fires. Impressive to see the pool and tennis courts. Very comfortable and relaxing stay and would definitely go back. Wasn't expecting nearly as much as it delivered. Small constructive criticisms: shampoo is in a container that is inaccessible from the bath; be good to have some loose soap for use there. The exterior (and some interior areas) could do with redecoration - peeling paint etc. However great venue.

We had a really good time here. Staff were great, accommodation was good for the whole family, and the facilities were great. Looks as though it's currently undergoing some much needed updating. But apart from that, was a great hotel.

Fantastic accommodation
Fantastic accommodation, the staff were really friendly and helpful with everything. The room was super cozy and bigger than we expected, which was a pleasant surprise. It was very clean and fresh. The only difficult part was carrying everything to the room, as it’s a bit of a maze inside with many stairs. There’s a lovely garden to stroll through, and the food was excellent. This was the best place we stayed during our week in Scotland, and we will definitely return here!
