"What a nice surprise! I worried that the rate was so inexpensive that it was surely a dump on the wrong side of town... but I WAS WRONG! The room was clean, and all appliances worked. Breakfast was great also. I was traveling alone, so i was so glad to feel safe and not have any issues. "

"I am a nurse traveler, so I have had multiple stays at this motel over the last few months. It is within eight miles of the hospital, located around several choices of restaurants and shops, seems to be a safe environment, and is always clean. The only down side is some of the rooms have a very low water pressure and the water temp is low. Otherwise, a good stay. "

"It has been a good stay overall. Breakfast was diverse with options. Room was very clean and nice. Ran into small issue where hot water wasn’t working. Called the front desk (this was in the evening time) and they got someone out to fix it the next day and let me know it was done. Wonderful staff. Would definitely stay again. "

"We only stayed one night but everything was great. Except the pillows. Bed was comfortable. Shower was nice and hot. Plenty of channels to watch. Friendly staff when I checked in and out. If your not from Wichita or not familiar with it the area may seem a little sketchy but we didn't have any problems. If you have an issue with the smell of weed or cigarettes you may not want to stay here. "

"This place was a dump! THe room looked like it had not been vacuumed in months! The toilet was in an old closet and was right up agaisnt the door. If you needed to sit down you had to go with the door open. The shower was right next to the toilet/closet and opened right into the kitchen. Worst night of sleep in our life. Reminded us of the Bates Motel from Psycho."

"Our multi-generation , multi-state family recently gathered and stayed at clean and comfortable The House of Blues. Host, Nichole, was welcoming and responsive. The three levels worked well to give the different family units their own space. The younger generations particularly enjoyed the lower level which included comfy TV viewing seating, a sports table, games, and counter/frig for snacks and drinks. This was a winter stay, so the deck looked spacious but we can’t really speak to it or...
