"Pros: We thought the pool was awesome and well heated, kids spent a lot of time playing in and around the pool. There were also many things for the kids to play inside the house - some toys, game console, etc. and in the backyard - trampoline, tricycle etc. The house was located in a nice neighborhood and close to the marina for fishing, boating and bicycle path. "The location for the new yorker was very convenient if you plan to stay in the Manhattan area. The train station is less than a 5 minute walk away. Several food options closeby including food options at the hotel. The staff and housekeeping were kind and helpful. I had concerns about random charges that were applying to my room during my stay but they were patient with me and helped me understood where they were coming from. It turned out that i wasn't being charged extra but instead the remaining balance that wasn't charged during my booking on orbitz. The only downside is that you may have trouble sleeping if you're a light sleeper because you can hear the traffic or construction work in your room. However they do warn you about that at checkout. Overall it was an amazing experience. I'm glad to have stayed at the New Yorker during my time in NYC. Would certainly book here again in the future. "
