I thought they will be offering breakfast so I wasn’t prepared to make it and we had to go to the next town (only 15-20min drive) as there was nothing available in that area. But otherwise it is great that they have a kitchen and a refrigerator. Sunrise was amazing "

"We stayed here for two nights so that we could do a glacier and ice cave hike, and a glacier lagoon boat trip at Jokulsarlon. The guesthouse was in an amazing setting close to the mountains. The cabins were clean and very comfortable. The included continental breakfast was excellent. It would have been nice if they'd offered a dinner option too, but the owner was able to recommend the restaurant at the nearby Hotel Smyrlabjorg. We ate there both nights and the food was amazing. "We stayed for one night in a cabin/chalet behind the hotel. The concierge was extremely helpful and polite, despite clearly being alone at work (it was a Sunday night). Check in from a reservation was smooth and convenient. There is not much to do in the area, so we had a couple of beers in the bar/restaurant area and went to bed. The chalet was clean and well-equipped for a longer stay, with appliances, tableware, towels, and a comfortable sleeping arrangement. I would highly recommend this...

"The hotel was nice. It was the most expensive booking on our ring riad experience but no breakfast included as it's off season and its not worthwhile to provise that to the few guests there. It would have been nice to know this in advance so we could have brought something with us. Not much happening in town off season. Tge room is quite small for 2 to share but everything was clean and in order."
