"Overall cute house and it’s great it’s dog friendly. I expected dog hairs etc but found human hairs in bathroom and dirty towel hanging. Husband found floss stick on ground too. They offered to come clean it for us which was really nice, and we didn’t feel we needed. Bed and couches really comfy. Shower loud noise. Great they have laundry. Overall good stay but very much like a rustic cabin and probably needs a different cleaner"

"When we arrived at the property, it was exactly as described in the listing and even a little larger than we expected. The setting was beautiful and so peaceful! I loved watching the water from my seat around the fire and listening to all of the woodland creatures going about their day. My son also loved that it was a "classic" Maine Camp.... it was just like one would imagine. We would definitely recommend and stay here again."

"This beautiful home was perfect for our family for six adults and four small children. We live in three different states, so coming to your house allowed us to spend extended time together. One of our favorite activities was flying paper airplanes from the balcony of the top floor to the living room. Thank you for leaving two small foam airplanes to inspire us. The living room was a great place to gather to read a pile of children’s books intermittently throughout our days with our little ones....

"The house is exactly what the listing describes. Best place I’ve stayed at! They had everything you could think of, and if you forget something, they must likely have it there. Host answers pretty quick. We had a great time, we hope to be back to use that beach! I was a disappointed, there was a storm coming in, so I wasn’t able to stay my full time & I didn’t get offered any kind of reimbursement for the night I missed. "

"Arrival to the property was much easier than expected and the snow was cleaned up very nicely. We did notice immediately on walking in that the building smelled of cigarette smoke. This was quite a big issue since we had a baby and my husband has breathing issues. We were able to air the house out enough to breathe decently. The house itself was very nice to stay in. Not the safest place for a baby with the open stairs but I didn’t expect it to be baby friendly so that wasn’t a big issue....

"We were three families with kids (6) who had a wonderful 3 days over the New Year. The house is clean and has everything we needed. Although we were a large group, there was enough place for everyone both in common areas and bedrooms. The winter lake views are stunning and there were plenty of options for winter hiking. Also there is a ski resort within 15 minutes drive. We definitely would love to visit again! "

"This house was close to Portland in a nice, quiet neighborhood. It had plenty of space for me, my wife, and four kids. I love the care the owners take to make sure we have the comforts of home. It's fully stocked up with towels, toilet paper, kitchen cookware, you name it. They also took the time to label all of the light switches so you know how to turn everything one. We were very happy with our stay and highly recommend. The home itself was nice, but the care the owners took to make...
