"our stay was perfect other than the breakfast which we thought was overpriced and barely warm and the bacon imo was under cooked and no variety from day to day! Also the food menus in the grill I thought were poor! alright if you like chicken but again not much to choose from. The staff were all lovely and very helpful and the location was very good."

"Clean but not spotless - housekeeping can be hit and miss. A few minor maintenance issues with the room: missing lock on bathroom door, holes in carpet. Overall the hotel is pretty good, but what really lets it down are the guests: noisy, mouthy, and leaving a strong smell of weed in the corridors and outside."

"All in all nice little cottage for a couple and good as was pet friendly to go up Durham to visit our son up uni and take our dog to see him too. Cottage was nice a little place although i think the tv was slightly too high on wall. As we arrived there were 3 plumbing vans parked outside so had to park out side another cottage for bout hour n half till they moved their vans after going in pub at front of cottages before parking own car then outside our own cottage. During our stay all else in...
