"I have no idea how this place has such high ratings. Although initially the check in clerk was kind and somewhat helpful, my stay at this hostel was disgustingly bad. I opted for a private room which was actually not even close to what the misleading ad boasted. It was very hot with no thermostat to adjust the temperature and it was also very dirty. "Property was very clean and cozy with access to nearby shopping and attractions. Kitchen was well stocked. Property shares a wall with another structure, but we never heard any other people and it still felt very private. Floors are extremely squeaky, so if you or your partner don't wake up at the same time, it could be problematic. "This cabin is very close to Savage Gulf, full of spectacular hiking. The shower is great with wonderful water pressure, plenty of hot water and a shower head placed high enough for tall people. Nice that there is a gas stove too. We were plenty warm on very chilly nights."
