"Stayed in the winter, place got a bit cold (it does not have central heat). Wasn’t a lighter or enough firewood for our stay but the host brought a lighter and more wood. Beautiful pond in the back and the location is good, with easy access to the highway. Neighbors were close by, we were asked to turn off the outdoor light because it was shining into their house. Cottage was clean. There are security cameras outside. Overall it is a cozy place to stay in a good area. "

"The lake is right outside the door, and the view from the living room is just beautiful! We were in the area for work and didn't have much time to enjoy it, but there is a gorgeous gazebo on the side and a fire pit on the patio out back - both looking directly our onto the lake. One small downside, the bedroom is quite small - but we did enjoy the view of the sunrise on the lake right from the bed.."

The "queen" bed is an uncomfortable full mattress on a queen frame - that's squeaks horribly every time you move. The couch bed was also very uncomfortable. "I come to The Cottages at Harvey Lake every year for at least a week. It’s a wonderful location, quiet lake, close to restaurants, nice little beach with access to kayaks, and very pet friendly. Nancy Carver is super nice, greets you when you check in and is very quick to respond if you need anything. Love coming here!"

"Me and my family had a pleasant experience at Anna’s house we had everything we could have needed she went the extra mile to make sure she thought of everything. She answered me right away if I needed something.
