This was a very hot week so my only suggestion is to install window AC units in the upstairs bedrooms because it was very difficult to sleep at night with the only AC unit upstairs being in the upstairs bathroom."

"Had a great time at the cabin. It had everything we needed for our stay. The cabin was very quiet and comfortable. We hiked all day in the beautiful New River Gorge, Hawksnest State Park, and Babcock State Park. Saw hundreds of waterfalls after all the rain. The hot tub was just what we needed after long days on the trails. The only thing I would suggest is a hot tub cover lift as the cover was heavy and difficult to get back on. "We stayed in this cozy cabin with our family of four. Perfect size and right on the river. Unfortunately we were hoping for some good fishing but the river was high due to rains the week before. We did enjoy the Elk River Trails nearby and a beautiful drive down to Fayetteville. Ashley responded very quickly and was easy to stay in touch with. "We enjoyed this small cabin, it was perfect for 2 or 4 people. I enjoyed sitting on the porch and reading. Pam couldn't have been any nicer. We wanted to check out the lake, but didn't realize that they drain it after Labor Day. So we just spent a relaxing couple of days there. If you go, check out Alfredo's restaurant. Their subs and pizza are delicious."

"We stay in the area regularly to visit family and we would definitely stay in this house again. The location was convenient for our needs. There were plenty of things to do at the house to keep everyone happy, even in January! One thing to note since I didn’t notice when booking, there aren’t tv’s in the bedrooms. The projector and couch in the basement was the preferred hangout space for our teens."
