Learn the intriguing history of the winemaker and the operations. The vineyard has been intrinsically linked with sailors since using an image of a ship on its bottles in the 1980s. The sailing ship brand has become an iconic cornerstone of the winery.
Move to the Tasting Room to sample the vintage grapes of Dry Creek Vineyard. Choose from the selection of Signature Wines and Wine Club varieties. The site has free Wi-Fi and outdoor picnic areas, where you can enjoy snacks and refreshments against the picturesque backdrop of the vineyard.
Embark on one of the winery tours to see the cellars and learn how the wine is processed here. Among the main tours is the Tour and Taste Dry Creek Valley, which introduces you to the barrels, the winemaking techniques and the vineyard’s famous dry chenin blanc.
Taste the sauvignon blanc, cabernet sauvignon, meritage and zinfandel on the excursion called “A Flight Through Dry Creek Valley.” Play the Roman variety of the sport of boules on the “Bocce in the Vineyard” tour between rounds of cheese, dry chenin blanc and fumé blanc. Other activities include the Meritage: The Art of the Blend tour and the Large Group Wine Tasting.

Dry Creek Vineyard is in wine country in the northwestern section of California. Drive north from Healdsburg for 5 miles (8 kilometers) to get here in about 10 minutes. Visit other nearby wineries, such as Unti Vineyards, Amista Vineyards and Mauritson Wines.
