Pet-Friendly Bayside Retreat with incredible view. Steps to the private beach!

Come see these amazing sunsets for yourself! Prime Hook Beach is on the Delaware Bay located off Rt. 1. Close to towns like Rehoboth and Lewes, but away from all the crowds! The bay has a natural beach with gentle waves and a gradual slope. Perfect for kids and dogs to swim! Great place to hunt for seashells or see horseshoe crabs. Our house backs to the wildlife refuge with the sandy beach access right across the residential street.

Our house is 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths with an open concept floor plan and water views from every window. Two bedrooms with queen sized beds and one bedroom with full sized bunks. Sleeps 6. Full kitchen including large fridge, gas stove and large toaster oven that can fit a casserole dish and pizza. *We do not have a full oven. All pots, pans, dishes and serving ware is included! We have a drip coffee maker as well as a Keurig. Coffee, creamer and sugar provided!

Bring your dog! Both our house and the beach are pet friendly. Just make sure to clean up after your pet both in the home and on the beach and they must remain on a leash outside.

Fully stocked including all bed linens and bath towels, paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, hair dryer, kitchen essentials and some beach supplies you are welcome to use. We even have baby items such as a pack n play, high chair, bouncer, play mats and toys! Gas grill on the side deck waiting for you to cook out. *The supply can change periodically. We cannot guarantee the condition of any of these items.

Work with a view! We have excellent wifi in the main living areas, and a wifi extender for the back bedrooms.

Enjoy the beautiful sunsets on the new sectional on our large back deck or sunrises from the front sun room. Come experience all of the peacefulness our house has to offer!

Wonderful weekend getaway
Loved our stay at this pretty house. Location is perfect. Tranquil bay on one side and short walk to the beach on the other. Lewes and Rehoboth within 15 minutes. The house had all the amenities we needed . We slept well on the beds and the showers had wall units of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. I'm already planning our next stay !

Wonderful Weekend

My family has been going to the DE beaches every year for 6 years now. We have been to various beaches and stayed in very nice VRBO properties. Nice getaway, easy drive from DC
My husband and I took our mothers on a short trip to the beach; this was a lovely place to stay. Quiet beach, but close to Lewes for a day trip, really nice sunsets over the marsh/wildlife area!

Peaceful Location - So Happy To Return to This Special Place!

Great family getaway!
We had such a nice time at Chris and Nick’s bayside retreat! The home was so clean and welcoming. The minute we walked in we felt instantly rejuvenated. Being on the nature preserve and right across the street from the bay made it such a perfect and peaceful spot. The kids loved morning walks on the beach, and bird watching from the back. Chris and Nick’s home is so sweet! The perfect size and location for a family with young kids. Great location with spectacular views
My family, my fur baby and I had a wonderful and relaxing trip. The home is in a quiet neighborhood with access to a private beach. The beach was lovely and did not disappoint in any way. The views from the back deck were a sight to behold. The home had everything we needed, and the owner, Christine, was very responsive and helpful. The home was just as described and highly recommended.

We happened to stay at the beach house during a wind and flood advisory, and we still loved it. We can't wait to go back. It was a beautiful and peaceful off-season retreat. The beaches and wildlife sanctuary make this a particular spot for wildlife lovers, but beautiful restaurants are just a drive away. I appreciate that the owners have bikes and kayaks available and that our fur babies were welcome! This is a GEM!!

Absolutely everything was perfect! Super cozy beach house in the perfect location only steps away from the beach.
