"Older home that needs some updating. They were working on the master bathroom when we got there and could not fix one of the sinks and one of the showers and never came back. There were broken chairs out back sitting by the pool and one thrown around the side of the deck. Two fans were broken …. Ran out of propane during a dinner and they did eventually get that taken care of. Just needs an all around spruce up and maintenance . "

"Loved the house and the location was great. The pool outside was perfect and we would go play in the water at the beach. Note that the beach right out front of the house is not a good place to play since there are large rocks and swift currents in the area. You have to walk a couple hundred yards north to get to an area you can play safely. Waking to that beach on high tide can be difficult. "

We had great meals at La Parcela and of course the wings at Jolly Roger’s! This villa is perfect for great walks on the beach, relaxing by the pool and has a great kitchen to prepare any foods or beverages desired. Easy travel to Manuel Antonio and Uvita for night life, and quiet if you wanted to stay home. We truly love this area and will be back for sure!!"

"the front desk guy was amazing and extremely helpful. Dominical itself is the cutest little surfing town and the center of everything was super close. Fuego next door was fun and delicious. "I have to say, the communication with the hosts was by far the best I’ve ever had! They are incredible and accommodating! My 2 daughters, my husband and I and our close friends stayed with us. We loved having our individual spaces as well as our communal area. The individual ACs per room was luxurious. I do enjoy having the ability to combat control just one bedroom. The walk to town was easy and relaxing, and the proximity to the grocery store was clutch. The plumbing is something to be aware of in almost any property in Costa Rica, so you have to abide by the toilet paper in the garbage rule. I think the listening says hot tub, but there’s not one. Not a deal breaker on how hair we were here!"

The kitchens - indoor and outdoor had everything we needed to serve 11 people daily. This house has everything you need to accommodate a family vacation. Having the washer/dryer option was fantastic as well, the pool is amazing and the decks off each bedroom provide you with an outdoor option to read books, have a drink, or just put your feet up. The outdoor shower option was great for washing off after a day at the beach or hiking through the rainforest. The amenities are top notch and the house manager - Alex is wonderful. His quick response to any question, and his ability to book adventures, rent a car, or give you suggestions on where to go for meals, adventures, or trips, are outstanding. The grounds are beautiful and the birds that come and visit each day are spectacular Casa Montana` is a special place and one you won't regret renting for a stay in Costa Rica"

Great place but not a surfing beach

"Loved the house and the location was great. The pool outside was perfect and we would go play in the water at the beach. Note that the beach right out front of the house is not a good place to play since there are large rocks and swift currents in the area. You have to walk a couple hundred yards north to get to an area you can play safely. Waking to that beach on high tide can be difficult. "
