"The house was great the yard was great wished we weren’t so rushed and had the time to enjoy the surroundings. The upstairs shower was on the small side, thin walls so depends on who you are sharing the upstairs with they will hear you and front bedroom you can hear the road very well. We had long days so able to sleep through it after the first night. This is a great country house. "

Bird watchers will especially love the barn willows, red headed woodpeckers, blue grosbeak, Bobwhite, and more. Stores and the historic downtown of Saint Genevieve are just a short drive away. "This house was perfect for us and some of our family to stay over the Thanksgiving holiday, while visiting family in the area. Usually we get motel rooms, but this time decided to rent a house in order to have a kitchen. We accidentally popped a breaker with so much cooking, and the owners were able to come over to fix it right away; VERY appreciated on Thanksgiving morning! The game room, of course was a hit with my nephew (and us)! We would definitely stay again! "

"Traveling with a large family is never easy, but this rental made us feel at home. Full kitchen for cooking, dining area to seat everyone, huge tv, great wi-fi, washer and dryer, fun backyard to make s’mores, and beds upstairs to sleep all our kids. We would stay here again!"

"My boyfriend and I were looking for something local but still rural for us to enjoy a night away. The house is incredibly beautiful and decorated so sweet. We sat out by the fire pit for 3 hrs and enjoyed the view while roasting marshmallows to make s’mores with the supplies for the left set up for us by the owners. It was an amazing stay and we will be back. "
