"For the most part HGI is a good place to stay. The price of the scaled-down buffet is ridiculous. The price of your rooms is not affordable to most, and is the reason we don’t stay there very often. Put the price of the breakfast……guess you don’t need customers."

"Enjoyable staycation for wife and I. I liked the property, the feel, the style, but the last update was clearly in the mid-80s. And the pool area needs to have the gigantic sheets of rotten paint pulled off and repainted - ugh. "

"Always has availability. Room is nice (we especially appreciate the fridge and microwave). Lovely hot water. Good breakfasts. Convenient. Quiet inside the hotel plus no noise from outside. The only reason I didn't give them 5☆s is there may be a problem with a cancellation fee. Instead of just adding a night to our stay, I had to cancel our 4 night reservation, and place a new reservation for 5 night and was charged a cancelation fee. "

"I will never stay at this property again. Everything here needs some serious attention and cleaning. The staff were nice, property management has failed miserably in keeping this hotel in shape. Beds, linens, bathroom fixtures needed to be replaced years ago. I chose not to eat the”free” breakfast due to my observations."
